Coors Field

Saturday, May 24th, found us traveling from Colorado Springs to Denver and Coors Field - home of the Colorado Rockies - to take in a game against the New York Mets. Coors Field is a beautiful stadium and allowed Bob and I to cross another stop off our goal list of visiting each Major League Baseball field in the United States.

The game also allowed us a chance to visit with our online racing family. Doug, Cory and Rob are all members of the MountainWest Motorsports (MWM) team. Collectively, we've been racing online together for over a decade now. Below (left to right) are Doug and his fiancee, Tanya; Cory and his son, Caleb; and Rob and his wife, Mary.

Unfortunately, we did not bring good luck to the Rockies. There were down 5 to 1 after the first inning. Bob joined the support efforts with his rally cap in the eighth inning. However, they did not recover and lost to the Mets, 9 runs to 2.
